Had you ever think that what keep us living in this world? Why we live in this world? Never? Yes! We never think about it. It seems like a stupid question. We had been born to this world and we still alive. Do we really have choices? Since we are alive, so we keep on alive. That’s all! Very simple!
What is the different between alive and living? Somebody say that the spelling is different. Yes! You are right! The spelling is different. What keep us alive? Of course, food, oxygen, water and other things to keep our physical body maintain active. There are people who are alive but not living. We called them as zombie. As you can see in the movie of Resident Evil, a zombie keep alive by eating meat. You can also find zombies in the working place, you can see them walking and eating like normal people. But in your heart, you know they are zombies. This is because they are alive but not living. So, what is living?
I like to sleep. I sleep when I have free time. Usually I dream when I sleep. Sometimes, it is good dream. Sometimes, it is bad dream. Most of the time, I forget about the contents of the dream. If I can remember the contents of the dream, I will take necessary action. For example, I will go to number forecast betting center to try my luck. Most of the time, I lose my bet. Anyway, the agent at the number forecast betting center always encourage me do not give up. Yes! This is what people always say: Don’t ever give up!. Furthermore, Nike says that: Just do it!. You think about it or you dream about it, then just do it! It always ends up with action!
One day, I found out that I was not buying some digits only. Most of the time, I lose but I still repeat to buy. Why? Do I like to lose? No! This is because I am buying a hope! A hope that tomorrow will be better. A hope that tomorrow everything will be alright.
We consider ourselves as continuous entity. It means that we assume tomorrow we will still alive and wake up to do all the same old things. Human being is not like zombie. Zombie needs only food to alive. Human being not only needs food to alive but also a hope for living. Human being without hope will becomes zombie.
What we are doing today is always for tomorrow. For example, we go to school or university for tomorrow’s career. Yesterday is past. Today will be past. Tomorrow is the hope! It’s tomorrow that makes us go through hardship today. It’s tomorrow that makes us tough today! It’s tomorrow that let us taste all the sour, sweet, bitter and spicy today! That tomorrow we call it as hope!
It’s hope that keeps us not only alive but also living in this world! So, how do you create your hope? Or, never mind! Let’s become zombies.
