Method how to reduce stress

Why stress arise? Stress arises because of uncertainty. Because of uncertainty, then you feel stress. When you know how to handle the things, there will be no uncertainty and you won’t feel stress. For example, when you have a lot of task to be settled and you know how to handle it, then you will not feel stress. In contrast, when you have a lot of task to be settled and do not know how to handle it, then you will feel stress.

There are some ways to reduce stress:

1st tip, keep all unrelated documents off your working table. When working table is full of documents, it will gives you false impression that a lot of tasks waiting for you to settle. Imagine when you go to office and walking towards your table, you do not see a clear table but you see lot of documents. How do you feel? Oh god! What a bad mood! Today, I must be very busy and have a lot of work to be settled. So, just keep relevant documents on working table. Throw away other documents. This is also same for computer desktop. Do not keep all files on computer desktop. This is a simple way to reduce stress.

2nd tip, if there is uncertainty, make it clear. For example, your wife may request you to perform housework. Perform all housework or certain type of housework only? You feel stress because there is possibility that you need to do all the housework. To eliminate the uncertainty, you can make it clear by asking your wife. Perform certain housework only? Yes! At least your stress had been reduced. Perform all the housework! Oh No! But at least your stress had been reduced also because you have accepted that this is your fate.

3rd tip, today’s work finished it by today. This habit had been taught by our teachers since primary school to finish all the homework by today. Since the work had been done, then there will be no stress. Of course, this is for small task.

4th tip, for big task or project, it is impossible to finish it in one day. So, what should we do to reduce stress? The best way is to divide it into several small tasks and settle it one by one. Settle one big task or project in last minute can create huge stress. If you want to consume an elephant, what should you do? Do you swallow it? No! You eat it with one bite and follow by another one bite until you finish the whole elephant.

5th tip, when you fell stress, write down what caused you feel stress. You may write down some tasks that need to be done. Suddenly you will find out that there are only a few tasks or the tasks are so easy to do. Sometimes, we worry too much.

6th tip, when you feel very stress, take a break and go to the open crowded area. Why go to open area? This is because there is no ceiling on your head. Gravity pulls the weight of the ceiling on you causing you feel stress. Don’t believe? Go to open area then you will feel the different. Again, why go to crowded area? Because according to scientists, energy does not disappear. This is law of conservation of energy. Since energy cannot disappear and stress is energy, so go to crowded place to transfer your stress to other people.

7th tip, concentrate on one task each time. Multitasking can create stress. For example, when you open several applications at the same time on your computer, you computer will response slowly or sometimes it will hangs. This is also same to human’s brain. So, do not get yourself hang or crazy.

8th tip, think of the worst case or situation. When you have a big project that cannot finish on time, what is the worst case? The customer will be upset. Will it affect you? Yes, because your boss will fire you? If no, then just relax. If yes, can you find another living? Yes! Then, relax! Whatever things happened, you still need to eat and sleep. Just relax!

    i have a suggestion! How about if you put a blog/space to everyone who have somethings to say? it can be complaint about their job, whom i hate, whom i am admired quite a long time.. or even a secret..It ’s for them to release their said/tention from their dairy life.

    ..i have something to ask..why people in office always like “two head snake” ? they can be very friendly & good infront of you. But they also will to talk about your bad things at your back? I HATE THIS KIND OF PEOPLE VERY MUCH!!!!!!But usually this kind of people can survive well in the office! THIS IS UNFAIR!

      this script make me think about the colleagues in the office! I am not even feel stress about the job when when facing with this kind of people also make me headache!

      How can i face this kind of people ? Good with he/she? Actually i hate she/he very much ! No good with he/she? Definitely he/she will talk more about bad things of you!
