How do you make money? There are 2 types of income, which is active income and passive income. Which type of income do you prefer? Look at the money making story.
There was a village in rural area at which no direct water supply. So, the villagers have to depend on 3 guys to supply water needed for daily life. These 3 guys make money by supplying water to villagers. Everyday, these 3 guys have to walk out from the village to the river to carry the water into their buckets and walk back. They walk forth and back several times a day.
One day, one of the guys had stopped supplying water without giving any reason. Everybody thinks that the guy is quitting because it takes a lot of energy to carry water. The remaining 2 guys were very happy because their business volume will be increased and less competition. To cope with the business volume increment, the 2 guys had to increase their trips to the river. They worked 7 days a week and 12 hours per day for their water supply business.
The guy quit from carrying water went to the town to borrow money from bank. From the money he got, he bought a lot of pipes and construction material. He went back to the village and employed a group of people to do some construction work. Everybody in the village was laughing at him. Some even said that he was crazy. No body knew what he was doing.
After 6 months the construction completed. Everybody was curious to know about that. The guy opened the tap and water from the river flow out. It was amazing! From that time onwards, that guy build a pipe to each house in the village and bill the villagers for amount of water used every month.
The other 2 guys that carry water using buckets had to end their business because the water from the tap is cheaper and more reliable. The villagers can get the water in the volume they want without waiting for long time.
Most of the time, we make money by using our hands and our effort directly. We work for other and in return we get our wages or money. However, when we stop to work, we do not get any money. We make money when we work, we do not make money when we do not work. This is active income. It is like the 2 guys who carry the water using buckets. They use their energy to carry water and sell it to make money. If they not carry water, they will not make money.
In contrast, the l guy takes the risk by borrowing money from the bank and constructs water pipe. In short term, he may not make money. However, after water pipe construction completed, he can sell the water without working hard anymore. He can make money even though he does not work because he had built a water pipe system and will bill the villagers periodically. This is passive income. We make money even though we do not work.
It is also important to make money using technology. The 2 guys utilize old ways to carry water by using buckets. The 1 guy utilizes technology to install water piping. From then onwards, the 1 guy can make money easily. That is why a lot of people using online technology to make money. You can reach millions of people using internet and make money online.
In summary, while you are making money from your active income, do not forget to build your passive income. At the same time, you should use technology to make huge passive income.
